Flexible Spending
- The Medical Reimbursement Account allows employees to make withdrawals to reimburse themselves for medical expenses not covered by a health or dental insurance plan. Examples: Prescriptions, Orthodonture, Eyeglasses, Contact Lenses, Counseling and Deductibles.
- The Dependent Care Account allows employees to make withdrawals to reimburse themselves for expenses associated with either adult or dependent child care. The person being cared for must be a dependent of the employee and treated as such on the employee’s tax return.
- The Personal Health Insurance Plan Reimbursement Account allows an employee to be reimbursed for any outside (non employer) health insurance premiums, such as CHAMPUS and/or CHILD HEALTH PLUS.
